The Financial Independence Mutual Fund PLC is an open-ended fixed income fund focused on both long-term and short-term fixed income securities. These investments include, but are not limited to, Treasury Bills and Notes, Commercial Paper, Corporate Notes and Bonds, Certificates of Deposits, and Fixed Deposits issued by reputable institutions in Ghana.
Objective:
The fund’s objective is to help individuals invest regularly in order to cater for their emergency needs or maturing financial obligations as and when they fall due.

Mode of Contributions:
Payments can be made through various methods, including USSD payments, convenient deposits with partner banks, direct debit, standing orders, or post-dated cheques. Flexibility to top up daily, weekly, or monthly.
Redemption:
The shares of the fund can be redeemed by completing a redemption form and submitting by mail to info@firstfinancecompany.com or in person at our premises at no. 59 Ring Road Central. Redemptions take a 3 - day cycle before payment.
Eligibility:
Open to individuals aged 18 or older, associations, investment clubs, corporate institutions, and provident and pension funds. Available for those participating in Pension Tier 2 Schemes or with existing investments.
Enrollment:
Requires a valid ID (Ghana card), recent passport-size photograph, and completed application form.
Zac Bentum is the Board Chairman of the Financial Independence Mutual Fund, bringing decades of leadership, innovation, and expertise in credit management and SME financing to the organization.
A Chartered Accountant and banker by profession, Zac has held several senior management roles, including serving as Managing Director of Eximguaranty Company (Ghana) Limited from 2013 to 2017. Prior to that, he was the General Manager and Head of Finance/MIS at Eximguaranty, where he played a pivotal role in establishing Ghana's premier Credit Guarantee Scheme.
Zac also has significant experience in the mining sector, having served as Finance Manager of Group Projects at Ashanti Goldfields Co. Ltd. (now AngloGold Ashanti Exploration), where he supported exploration and mining activities across 13 countries.
His international experience spans the UK, US, and Zimbabwe. As an SME Financing Expert, he was a member of a World Bank FIRST Initiative project select group, advising on the design, implementation, and evaluation of public credit guarantee schemes for SMEs. He also provided consultancy to the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and the Zimbabwean government on the development of a new Credit Guarantee Scheme.
In addition, Zac served on an eleven-member Presidential Commission that advised on the formation of the Ghana EximBank and provided recommendations for government action.

Faustina Korkor Odoi-Agyarko is the Chief Executive Officer of First Finance Company Ltd. She brings over 20 years of experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Treasury Management and Pensions.
Prior to joining First Finance, she served as the Managing Director of NTHC Asset Management Limited, where she led the company’s restructuring and played a key role in establishing additional subsidiaries within the NTHC group. Faustina held several senior management positions in the same institution including Head of Treasury Operations and Client Relations and Deputy Manager, Finance and Accounts. She started her career as an Audit Trainee with Minta Ossom and Associates.
Faustina is a qualified accountant and a member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG). She holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Coast, and a Certificate in Business Risk Management from the University of Cape Town.
