The Elite Fund is an open-ended mutual fund that seeks to achieve growth in income and capital to meet investor’s medium to long term objectives, while ensuring liquidity and high security.

A mutual fund is a type of investment that allows investors to pool their money together into one professionally managed investment. The pooling of your money generally creates greater buying power so that you are able to invest in a wider range of investments than possible for most individual investors.

The Fund mobilizes the savings of shareholders into a big pool and invests half of the mobilized funds in Fixed Income Investments and the other half in carefully selected publicly traded stocks such as ordinary shares of companies listed on the Ghana Stock Exchange based on an established investment policy.

Shareholders of this fund enjoy a three tiered benefit. They enjoy capital gains, dividends and interest payments. Capital gains are realized when the shares in which the Fund has invested have their prices rising above their original purchase prices. Dividends are investor’s share of profits made by the companies whose shares the Fund has invested in. Interests are returns typically associated with equity investments.

the Elite Fund is suitable for individuals 18 years or older (anyone below that age will require a parent or guardian to open the account in trust for him or her), associations, investment clubs, corporate institutions, provident and pension funds.

• You need a valid Identity Card (Voter, NHIS, Driving License, National I.D or Passport)
• A recent passport size photograph
• A completed application form (forms can be obtained on any working day from our offices located at No.63 Ring road or downloaded from our website).

GH¢ 200 initial minimum lump sum contribution is needed to join the Fund and at least
GH¢ 100 with each subsequent top up (i.e. weekly, monthly top ups).

• Cash and cheque payments in the name of Elite Fund payable into any of the Fund’s account. (GT Bank 201118166110)
• Standing order to your bank for regular monthly deductions into your Elite Fund Account.
• Completion of direct debit forms.
• Issue postdated cheques for a specified period.
• Via bank wire transfers at any bank (Please call us for instructions.)
• Investors can top up their Investment Accounts at any of our designated banks across the country.

Returns in the Elite Fund are realized from changes in the Fund’s price (compared to the price at which it was purchased at).

• You can visit our website at www.firstfinance.com.gh for the prices and returns on the Elite Fund.
• You can determine the value of your investment by multiplying the total number of Elite Fund shares you own by the prevailing bid price.
• You can also call, email or walk into the offices of First Finance Company for information on your total shares and value of your investment.

• You will receive confirmation (usually text message) of any additional investments you make into the Fund.
• Contract note showing the number of Elite Fund shares bought will be sent to your email upon every purchase made for your account.
• Monthly, quarterly and full year client’s statements and reports showing all deposits received, purchases made at various prices, accumulated shares, value of investments and returns made within the period. 

• Complete a redemption/withdrawal form and submit by hand, email (forms can be obtained from our offices or downloaded from our website).
• Payment is made by transfer or cheque within a maximum of 5days.
• Cheque amounts above GH¢1,000.00 cannot be opened.
• For withdrawals, a minimum of GH¢200.00 must be left on the account to keep the account active.
