Mr. Sarpong was trained at the University of Ghana Business School in Entrepreneurship and Business Management, and Effective Leadership Management & Administration. He has subsequently propelled himself to be one of the pronounced entrepreneurs in Ghana with significant experience both locally and internationally.

He gained significant experience in operations and marketing of insurance products and investments in the United States and became an underwriter of insurance products and securities in the United States of America.
